It is with great sadness that we announce the death of MaryAnn Elizabeth Amstutz of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As MaryAnn Elizabeth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though MaryAnn Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy MaryAnn Elizabeth leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Amstutz. She is survived by: her son Alfred Amstutz (Dusty); her grandchildren, Kiernan Amstutz and Ian Amstutz; and her brother Mark Shelton (Linda).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Memorial Park (10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553).
