James Lee Belcher Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Lee Belcher of Dublin, Virginia, whose life came to an end on June 25, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Goforth Belcher; and his parents, James Roy Belcher and Helen Graham Belcher Hall. He is survived by: his children, Karen Dishon (Leon) and Lee Belcher; his grandson Tyler Dishon of Charleston, SC; his children, Chandler Dishon of Dublin and Caitlin Davis of Christiansburg; his grandchild Tristen Velasco of Radford; and his brother Wes Belcher (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dublin United Methodist Church (424 E Main St, Dublin, VA 24084). A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jim's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Dublin United Methodist Church, or a cause meaningful to you.
