She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Earle Bennett and Elizabeth Young Bennett; and her siblings, Doris B. Norcutt, Lucille B. Perkins, Jeanette B. Pruitt, Alma B. Joseph, L. D., Bill, Harold and Otey Bennett.
She is survived by: her spouse Willie "Ham" Moss; her children, Hampton Moss (Tess) and Tammy M. Finley (Eric); her sister Nell B. Slayton; her grandchildren, Ashley Moss and Shannon M. Tavoloni (Donald); her great grandchild Aidan Tavoloni; and her sisters-in-law, Frances "Boots" M. Taylor, Brenda M. Gammon, Louise Moss and Vickie Moss.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Bachelors Hall Fire & Rescue, 1301 Berry Hill Road, Danville, VA 24541.
