She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Long Thompson; her spouse Dorsey Williamson, Jr.; and her siblings, Olivia Long, Bobby Long, Thurman Long and Carson Thompson, Jr..
She is survived by: her niece Cynthia Holloway (Percy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sassafras Grove Baptist Church (3254 Old NC Hwy 86 N, Yanceyville, NC 27379). A burial was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (1300 Wilkes St, Alexandria, VA 22314).
