With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara L. Gershman of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Arlington, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Gershman. She is survived by: her son Simon Gershman; her daughter-in-law Jessica Gershman; and her siblings, Stuart Singer (Sherry Singer) and Adele Singer (Greg Blaine).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 3830 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA 22304. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the King David Memorial Gardens (7400 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22046).
